Starring: Kim So Yeon (Kim Yeon Woo), Jung Gyu Woon (Park Ji Heon), Uhm Tae Woong (Lee Do Wook), and Cha Ye Ryeon (Kang Hee Young)

Now what's this drama about? According to AsianWiki, the plot says: Kim Yeon-Woo (Kim So-Yeon) is an orthopedist who disclosed a professor's medical malpractice. Because of this she was fired from her job. She then gets a job for the Korea National Training Center working with the athletes as a doctor. A love line then grows between Dr. Kim Yeon-Woo and Park Ji-Heon (Jeong Kyeo-Woon) and the head of the medical department Lee Do-Ok (Uhm Tae-Woong)...

Well, the description basically covers around the first three episodes, which is as much as I've seen so far. Now, let's take a closer look at the main characters.

Kim Yeon Woo. She's working as a doctor, or more specifically an orthopedist (doctor that treats fractures and injuries on the musculoskeletal system). Her personality shows that she's the tough girl, she keeps nagging on her younger co-workers and takes her job seriously. Almost too seriously when her boss (Doctor Suh) made a mistake on a patient during a surgery with her. Doctor Suh denied his mistake while Yeon Woo wanted to act according to the law and wouldn't allow to stay quiet about it, which eventually led her to lose her job at Hankook Hospital, got labeled as a whistleblower and couldn't get a job at any other hospital. Until she applied for a place at the National Training Center to treat athletes. Yeon Woo lives with her mom, she also got a younger brother that always falls in depts (and she pays for them).

Yeon Woo is suffering from hard times in the first episodes. She needs to find a job and settle her family problems. One thing that I noticed is that she's very honest and always wants to act justly. She's not afraid to say how she exactly feels, but we still get the feeling that she's not fully confident. I think that's great, but she needs to practise on her emotions and control herself. I know she's having a hard time, but it's especially during these times where she needs to focus and be cautious of her emotions in order not to make any regrettable actions. But I have hopes for some character development!

Park Ji Heon. This guy is a pretty chill guy, as you can see from the picture, Ji Heon is a judo athlete. So far the only concern he has is to win a gold medal, and join the national team. He's a nice guy, so what happened to him while he was being nice? He got hit by a moped while running after a bag thief who took Yeon Woo's moms bag. That was their first meeting. They met again in a small festival where they lit some lights, and the third meeting was during his competition. There she realized that when the moped hit his leg, he actually got hurt. The whole leg was literally purple, she casually showed off her skills, took a scalpel and made a cut down trough his leg to release clogged blood. Now he got another concern, which is his leg. Since Yeon Woo got a job at the Training Center, where Ji Heon trains in, he got treated by her once again and will probably do it many times in the future.

Now what about this guy. You could say he basically fell in love at first sight, I would say that happened during their second meeting. Like I said, he seems to be very nice and caring, he got a positive and outgoing personality. He helped her maybe more than three times now, realizes that she's having a hard time and tries to make her a little bit happy by buying dinner, hanging out, but he tries not to get too involved. We can see that he's suffering with something along with the gold medal winning. Apparently he had a brother who died, we don't know exactly how and why, but I get the feeling that it has something to do with the gold medal winning. My hypothesis is that maybe his bro died while trying to win a gold medal? I don't know, we will probably get an answer later.

So far I'm liking this drama. Many interesting characters, but I've only written about the two main ones since I honestly have no strenght to get deeper into this lmao. I wish that there will be no love triangle (since korean writer always think that card is something to entertain us, no, it doesn't), but there probably will be. I just want to say for a 2010 drama, the camera and acting quality is really good if we compare it to even some 2014 dramas. There's no stiff or obvious acting, I like it. Since this is a medical drama, it makes it interesting to me :)

Tell me your opinion on this drama. Have a nice day yall~ / Yume
